The valued Lurisia spring water got its name from the small Italian mountain village. In 1917, the miners discovered a spring of Fonte Santa Barbara with especially soft and clean water in the Alps near the village 1,460 metres above sea level. In 1940, Lurisia Spa was established in the same place where the higher society could enjoy the healing power of the special spring water. After World War II, the spring water was also bottled. Even today, only nature-friendly glass bottles are used where the lucid, crisp, pure and soft taste of the water is maintained. Over time, a luxurious aura has been added to the Lurisia water brand, but the content is still the same – good and perfect spring water.
