Fentimans Rose Lemonade
The history of the brand producing quality beverages is honourable: the founder of the company Thomas Fentiman was an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, England who was approached by a local merchant with a request for a loan in 1905. A deal was made and the security was a recipe of a botanically brewed ginger beer. The merchant did not pay the loan back and so, Thomas became the owner of a unique recipe. Beverage made according to the recipe became popular rapidly, the family business broadened and several factories were opened. The company still belongs to the Fentiman family.
Rose lemonade is made from lemon juice and pure rose extract from Kazanlak, Bulgaria. Rose extract is made from essential rose oils manufactured with steam distillation which gives the liquid a pale pink colour and a strong scent of roses. It takes 5 to 10 rose blossoms to make one 125 ml bottle of Rosé Lemonade. The result is a perfectly balanced sweet and sour combination of flavours.
