Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic Water

The history of the brand producing quality beverages is honourable: the founder of the company Thomas Fentiman was an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, England who was approached by a local merchant with a request for a loan in 1905. A deal was made and the security was a recipe of a botanically brewed ginger beer. The merchant did not pay the loan back and so, Thomas became the owner of a unique recipe. Beverage made according to the recipe became popular rapidly, the family business broadened and several factories were opened. The company still belongs to the Fentiman family.

Made with ruby red grapefruit and quinine for a tonic that is refreshingly dry and crisp. Subtle notes of fresh grapefruit combine with a hint of orange to offer a hint of what’s to come. A complex combination of distinctive lemongrass, heady juniper berry, invigorating kaffir lime and uplifting orris root provides the base of this zesty tonic water. Sharp and aromatic quinine awakens the palate followed fresh grapefruit, as though enjoyed freshly sliced from the fruit itself. Fresh, tangy and luminously sweet grapefruit is prominent, continuing the complex melody of flavours and leading to a welcoming dry finish.
